Directions - How to Find Us
Browse the satellite photograph view of the area and you will clearly pick out the distinctive layout of Port Grimaud , immediately north of this is the road to the camp site which is by the beach. Cross the road and you will pick out two red blocks these are the roofs of the shops and the Long Bar. Continue north and you will pick out what looks like a road, this is the main pedestrian thoroughfare to the beach, the beige building you have passed on your left is the Luxor shower block. Opposite and slightly north of the shower block are our caravans. The road from the shower block to the beach is no more than 300 yards long so this will give you a sense of scale, and you can see how centrally and conveniently situated we are for all the facilities.
Browse the map of the surrounding area to see how close to all facilities we are. Use the directions facility to help you find us.

How you choose to travel is of course up to you. We will try to give you information regarding all the options and links can be found on the travel page to all air lines, airports, car hire firms, train operators and ferry companies. The campsite is located close to two international airports. Nice is only an hour and a half away and Toulon/Hyeres is only about an hour by car. For available flights check out the websites shown on our travel page.
Car hire is easily available from both these airports or can be booked in advance over the Internet. (A word of warning - Internet bookings can only be paid for by the card holder who made the original booking using the same card). Again we have included links to the major operators from our travel page.
Train and taxi transfers from Nice airport are possible but will incur some inconvenience and are time consuming. There are two on site transfer services which are bookable in advance, they pick up regularly by minibus from the airports and because you share the cost are reasonably priced . Contact numbers are shown on our travel page.
The nearest train stations to the site are at Saint Raphaël and Frejus. If you choose the rail option as a pedestrian it would mean you having to take a bus (104) from St. Raphaël to St. Pons, (the stop for the campsite just outside the main gate). Alternatively taxis can be prebooked with English speaking drivers by contacting the numbers shown on our travel page. There are two separate stations at Frejus one for pedestrians and one for motorail and there is also a motorail link to Avignon. Motorail is of course a very civilised way to travel and you have the benefit of your own car on your holiday.
Of course many people do take their car and enjoy the freedom of motoring through France. The road network is excellent and very uncomplicated and fuel is much cheaper than the UK, so to that end we have included links to ferry companies on our travel page. Below are maps and facilities to obtain detailed directions. One tip when requesting directions use the French spelling of airport which is aeroport, and the nearest destination to the camp is Port Grimaud.
